I am so proud to share some exciting news – I’ve been awarded Bronze in the Creative Entrepreneur category at the 2025 AusMumpreneur Awards Gala!

For anyone who isn’t familiar, the AusMumpreneur Awards recognise and celebrate Australian women who are building successful businesses while raising families. To be acknowledged on a national stage for my work as a Melbourne photographer and small business owner is an honour I’ll cherish forever.

When I launched Allure Photography over 13 years ago, I was just 23 years old. Not yet a mum, but full of passion and determination to build something special. I wanted to create a photography studio that offered more than just beautiful photos. My dream was to provide families, mums-to-be, and professionals with a stress-free, fully guided photography experience, where every client feels comfortable, confident, and completely cared for.

This award isn’t just about a trophy. It’s about celebrating years of hard work, dedication, and resilience, growing my business while becoming a mum, navigating major life milestones, and adapting through challenges like COVID lockdowns.

Being recognised as a Creative Entrepreneur means so much because creativity is at the heart of what I do. Whether it’s newborn photography, maternity photography, family photography, or professional headshot photography, I pour my heart and soul into helping people preserve moments that truly matter. My approach is personal, natural, and unique – with same-day image viewing and efficient sessions that fit perfectly into busy family life.

To be named one of Australia’s top creative entrepreneurs confirms that the values I built my business on – authenticity, connection, and care – have made a real impact. It’s proof that when you stay true to your passion and keep showing up, amazing things can happen.

I couldn’t have reached this milestone without my incredible clients, supportive friends, and loving family... especially my husband and our two beautiful girls. You are the reason I do what I do.
